The successful family business has been run by the Bernstein family for three generations. Its headquarters and production are located in Porta Westfalica, Germany. With 3 generations of market knowledge, Bernstein AG continuously responds to the evolution of the market with innovative developments. The SMART safety concept is a good example of this. By applying the programmable safety controller SRI DI in combination with SRF RFID sensors and/or a SEU emergency stop, a huge saving in time and money on wiring is realized. The patented DCD diagnostic system can centrally read each linked unit 26-28 statuses with ease. Connections are possible with Profibus from Profinet, Ethernet via IO-link and Modbus
