You will therefore find models with a pressure point, these are used where dual function needs to be used with just one pedal. With their locking function, switches with pedal lock can provide protection against unintentional operation even in case of external influences such as as heavy vibration. Foot switches equipped with a bistable switching function allows constant machine operation; that is, operation even after the pedal is released, which is interrupted only when the pedal is operated again. In addition, the switches can be equipped with fixed or hinged guards, hinged pedal guards or emergency stop switches for manual operation. This ensures maximum possible safety in all work situations.
This also applies to use in explosive environments. BERNSTEIN offers Ex foot switches with Zone 1 and 2 approval. Specific switching solutions demonstrate the company's practical experience and need-oriented approach.
